49. Playing the Long Game or How To Join a New Team

This week, our heroes discuss joining a new team. Whether joining a new company or transitioning internally, it can be stressful. It doesn't have to be if you know how to play the game.

If you have a job right now, then at some point you’ve joined a new team. If you’ve been at that job for a while, you may have forgotten how stressful and overwhelming joining a new team can be.

Joining a new team can be a lot to handle. So this week, Derek and Jeremy review some tips and tricks to make that onboarding process a little bit easier.

And if you’re on the other side, as part of the team that someone new is joining, you can reverse engineer these things to help facilitate that onboarding experience to make this transition as smooth as possible for you.
